Ambassador Application

MEMBER RETENTION FACTS
Retention of members is one of the biggest challenges facing Chambers of Commerce today. To be successful, an organization must recruit new members while maintaining their long-term membership base. Ambassadors provide a strong communication link between Chamber Members, Board of Directors and staff.

AMBASSADOR COMMITTEE MISSION
The mission of the Ambassadors Committee is to actively promote and represent the Eastvale Chamber in the business community. Maintain professional customer service standards always; please remember you are a representative of the Eastvale Chamber of Commerce first and then your company.

PROCEDURE FOR JOINING THE AMBASSADOR PROGRAM
We have an enthusiastic team of Ambassadors; thus, forming a very effective and dedicated group of volunteers. We invite interested members to consider this opportunity.

A SUCCESSFUL AMBASSADOR CANDIDATE:
Must be willing and able to commit to the requirements and abide by the Ambassador Rules and Governing Policies. Attendance at Ambassador meetings & mixers are very important.

Must have a strong desire to serve (minimum three hours per month.) Although there are rewards for your service, please remember that service as an Ambassador requires a voluntary commitment of your time.

There are two phases to becoming an Eastvale Chamber of Commerce Ambassador:
When a member is interested in becoming an Eastvale Ambassador, please complete the Ambassador Form found on the Chamber website.

For a minimum of three (3) months the Ambassador applicant must attend consecutive monthly Ambassador meetings and attend at least 50% of the events in said three (3) months, prior to becoming an Ambassador in Training. This gives the applicant a chance to get a better feel for what serving as an Ambassador requires and a better understanding of the function of an Ambassador.

After three (3) months, the applicant may have the opportunity to become an “Ambassador in Training”. They would also earn the opportunity to receive a member call list.

Once a minimum of six (6) months – pre-application (3 months) and training (3 months) period have been successfully completed; if approved, a representative from the Chamber will meet with the applicant to review the Ambassador guidelines.
